Welcome to Faithwaze, community-driven Christianity
We're a sharing and caring community practicing the way of Jesus
Whether you are churched or unchurched, a seeker of cynic, a sinner or saint, where you are gay, straight or otherwise, rich or poor, healthy or sick, lost or found-- Faithwaze welcomes you.
"Let us Practice Together"
Faithwaze is not your typical church service. it's more of a community gathering where everyone is welcome. We gather to practice thanks giving, sing, share and nurture our faith.
Faithwaze started in 2016 as a means to reach out to the underserved population of Holyoke, Massachusetts. The name "Faithwaze" is inspired by the name of the mobile GPS application "Waze", which works in part by gathering input from other drivers. In much the same way, Faithwaze is also influenced by the people who participate.
When We Gather
Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, we met on Sundays at 8:30 am to share breakfast, music and stories at the United Congregational Church in Holyoke.
Since the Spring of 2020, we've been meeting virtually on Sundays at 11 am EST via Facebook and Zoom, attracting participants from all corners of the United States and beyond.
